Since its founding, the EHIA has served as a forum for discussing neighborhood problems: zoning, crime, traffic and maintaining our marvelous views. It has promoted beautification and utility undergrounding and acted to assist fire and police programs.
But today, in addition to the natural disasters our community has always faced, man-made threats have been added. Realizing this challenge, your Board has decided to exclusively focus the Association’s efforts in 2007 on the increased need for Emergency Preparedness where we live and play.
We ask you to join us in this effort. Talk to your neighbors; renew your membership and get others to join; sign up for the new courses we will be offering and volunteer to help us organize our neighborhoods to be ready for whatever challenges lie ahead.
We have already received ample warning – now we need your help to prepare.
